Adrienne Hirschfelder is a mathematics lecturer at Eastern Michigan University. She has been teaching at EMU for 12 years. The courses that she has taught include Quantitative Reasoning, Elementary Statistics, Introductory Algebra, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, and Linear Algebra. Ms. Hirschfelder also teaches mathematics at Washtenaw Community College.

Ms. Hirschfelder has an associate of science degree in automotive technology, a bachelor of science degree in mathematics, and a master of arts degree in mathematics. She has authored numerous books including the mathematics textbook, Mathematical Reasoning for the Real World.

She resides in Ypsilanti, Michigan with her 7 children and 3 cats.
